Rocking W Boer Goats is located in the Willamette Valley just on the edge of Salem in Silverton, Oregon.  We are only 15 minutes from the I-5 Brooks or Chemawa Rd. exits just North of Salem, Oregon.

 

We have South African Boer Goats which include Full Blood, Purebred and Percentage Boer breeding stock.  All of our breeding stock goats are American Boer Goat Association registered or registerable.   We also have unregistered pets, horse companions, brush clearing and meat stock which are not on the "For Sale" page.  Call if you are interested in availability and prices. 

 

Our farm maintains a "closed herd" which means that we do not take our animals off of the farm and do not provide breeding services to outside does.  Any new stock purchased is put into quarantine prior to introduction to the herd to maintain the health of our stock.  Animals are vaccinated and have complete health records maintained.  If you buy an animal from us, you are provided with each animals health record.  Our animals are raised on grass pasture and blackberries during the summer and we raise our own grass hay and purchase local alfalfa hay and grains during the winter.
